Abstract

One of the miracles of the Holy Qur'an is that its verses are divided into The Coherent and the Analogous. There are some verses which have definite meanings and there are some similar verses which have many meanings and there is only one meaning.  In both these terms, the scholars have been expressing their views according to their knowledge of its meaning and significance.  In this article, an attempt has been made to highlight the meaning and significance of The Coherent and the Analogous, the views of the scholars and especially the ideology of Hazrat Shah Waliullah.  This discussion is helping to understand the strong and the similar.
