Allama Abdul Mustafa Al-Azhari is one of the leading scholars of Karachi. His father's name is Maulana Amjad Ali Azmi. His father is the author of the famous book of Hanafi jurisprudence "Bihar Shariat". Maulana Amjad Ali Azmi's family is religiously affiliated with the Hanafi Barelvi sect. Allama Abdul Mustafa Al-Azhari is a religious scholar , political leader, and author of Tafsir Al-Azhari. He was a close associate of Maulana Shah Ahmad Noorani and the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (J-U-P), a major religious political party in Pakistan. He played an important role in the religious politics of Pakistan. He defined the meaning of Muslim at the national level, which was translated into English by Prof. Shah Farid-ul-Haq. This is the definition of a Muslim, enshrined in the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.
